Victor Manuel Medrano Sr., age 65, of Silver Spring, MD. Passed away the evening of Sunday, July 19th at Holy Cross Hospital at 9:03pm. He was born on March 13th 1955 in Usulutan, El Salvador. Victor is survived by his daughters Mayra Medrano, Vicki Medrano, and son Victor Medrano Jr. His loving grandchildren Tajuan Burriss, Ian Crabbe, Rosalani Burriss, Iryn Crabbe, Junior Burriss, Jalente Newman. His sons in law Jalente Newman and Andrew Dawson and extended family. Victor was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend to everyone.
Victor loved painting, cars and animals. He worked as a general contractor for over 25 years, but was forced to give up the career he loved due to his health. He spent much of his free time watching the animal channel or always tuning up his favorite car. Victor was always there to help his family and friends with any household projects or whatever else people needed him for.
One of the favorite family memories we have of our dad is going out to eat at his favorite places IHOP, Teppanyaki Buffet, or in his words “king burger” known as Burger King.
Dads are someone to look up to, someone to follow, someone to admire, someone to brag about, someone to to be proud of. We are so incredibly grateful and happy that we can tell everyone that we have had all this and much more with our dad Victor.
As special thank you to the people at Holy Cross in Silver Spring MD for their loving care and support during his final days.
